Sailing through 25.8 pounds of weight loss in just 4 weeks… and NOT suffering!

Ignacio finished week three of Phase 2 of our healthy weight loss program down 21.8 pounds… still with a pain free right knee, light on his feet, no hunger pangs, and seeing a healthy, active future.
Day 22 was easy going… Ignacio prepared his own meals while his family was away for the weekend. He was “craving the silence” but found his home “too quiet”. He enjoyed the now famous “lemon cilantro cauliflower rice” with his lunch… and journaled, “there are a lot of foods that can be cooked… there is absolutely no reason to be hungry. Those are ‘free vegetables’ Dinner was equally delicious.”
Ignacio started Day 23 at 208.0 for the second day in a row… but undeterred, he stuck to the program foods and portions for a fast lunch and a relaxed dinner. Steps for the day were high due to a busy Saturday. He told me, “Yes… my energy is good. Moments of ‘blah’… but good overall. I finished cleaning the house before my family returns from Laughlin… that’s why I pushed it. But I’m good. By the way… I think the family is on board. Tomorrow we’re all eating the same thing… they will eat breakfast but after that, they are starting to eat like me.” Ignacio was rewarded for his faithfulness to the program… he awakened on Day 24 weighing in at 206.6… down 1.4 pounds.
Day 24 lunch taco was “incredible”. He journaled, “First meal where the family joins and everyone likes it… And is satisfied. It’s easier to let them join gradually… This is definitely leading by example, and not forcing anything on anyone. Working on the purging out of unhealthy foods and never re-buying them. It’s easier not to eat them when they are not available. Dinner pleased all of us… the cauliflower rice has been perfected.” Lot’s of activity with his family returning. Day 25 weigh-in marked his first real fat detoxifying, water weight retention at 207.6… up 1.0 pounds.
Day 25 journal entry, “Sometimes it’s not hunger… It’s your body needing hydration. Water is essential… Keeps your stomach full and happy.” Ignacio enjoyed a colorful lunch and dinner, mid-range steps, and a return to 206.6 pounds on Day 26 weigh-in.
Day 26 was similar… Enjoyable and satisfying lunch and dinner, mid range steps, and a Day 27 weigh-in at 206.0… Down 0.6 pounds.
On Day 27, Ignacio journaled, “I’m learning to appreciate food for what it is, and not for how it makes me feel. I look forward to eating now. I know when the reserve is low, and I’m not bouncing off the walls from processed foods and sugars. My body feels clean, energetic, and appreciated. At nearly 4 weeks, it’s just becoming a part of what I do.” He also journaled, “As a family, we started a garden and we’re now enjoying the fruits of our labor. Eating healthy gives you an opportunity to get creative from the garden to your plate.” Lower steps for the day, and a Day 28 weigh-in of 205.2… down 0.8 pounds.
Day 28 taco lunch and lean meat with veggie ensemble for dinner. Kept the steps mid range, and was rewarded with a day 29 weigh-in of 204.0… Down 1.2 pounds. That’s another 4.0 pounds eliminated during Week 4 of Phase 2… and a total of 25.8 pounds of fat purged since Day 1 of Week 1.
