Down 21.8 pounds in just 3 weeks… without suffering!

Ignacio finished week two of Phase 2 of our healthy weight loss program down 16.0 pounds… still pain-free in his right knee, with good energy levels, not feeling deprived or suffering hunger pangs, now with a clear vision and conviction about making these dietary and behavioral changes a permanent pillar in his life.

The greatest challenge Ignacio has contended with through the guided weight loss process to date, has been sticking to low to no exercise. What’s the problem with exercise or heavy work during this temporary season of body weight reset?  Simple… high intensity exercise or work burns energy faster than can be created using body fat reserves.

The nutrition supplemental formula, or what we sometimes just call “the drops”, works with the low glycemic, anti-inflammatory food intake to draw energy from fat reserves, rather than from muscle. Simply spoken, burning body fat generates Ignacio’s energy during the “losing phase”. This healthy weight loss process keeps blood sugar level, which means low to no hunger pangs, and keeps energy strong, which means no sense of weakness or depletion through the “losing phase”.

Ignacio started week three of Phase 2 with a tough Day 15. “Today was tough. We cleaned out my mother-in-law’s garage after a big day of exercise, and I felt like I had no energy – and I couldn’t function well. I just couldn’t move like I wanted to. I wasn’t hungry… I just didn’t have energy. That’s why they say no exercise.” He enjoyed his meals, felt well-filled and satisfied, regained his energy with some needed rest, and awakened on Day 16 down about 1/2 a pound to 213.4 pounds.

Day 16 was much “more chill” regarding physical activity… and food including a lunch with “free” bok choi and mushrooms, and a large dinner taco was again, “plenty filling… very tasty and very satisfying”. He said, “Yes… this is the taco, using a specific tortilla. Amy is getting very creative with the fruits and vegetables. It’s actually really, really good and there’s a discipline to what you get at the store. It’s definitely about what you buy and don’t buy… we spend most of our store time in the veggie, fish, and poultry sections. I see that it’s getting easier for Amy too… it’s changing the way she’s cooking. Good news… Frank’s Red Hot Wings sauce is included and like the other condiments, a nice add to the tasty mix.” Ignacio awakened on Day 17 down 1.4 pounds to 212.0.

Day 17 lunch was “so good!” Dinner got even higher raves. “The meat sauce is all hand made… not store bought. Salad dressing too, from scratch. Thank you for the recipe book… really delicious options.” Day 18 morning weigh-in… 211.0 pounds. Down 1.0 pounds.

Day 18 food “seems to just keep tasting better”. Ignacio shared, “This coming weekend, I’m going to be making the food myself… Amy and the kids are going to Laughlin and I’ve chosen not to go… too much physical activity and I don’t want to interrupt that for them. Now, I will get to experience how it works for me making the food by myself.” Day 19 morning weigh-in was a minor stall at 211.2 pounds.

Day 19 found Ignacio enjoying “free food” around his meals. “Never as far back as I can remember has food tasted so good. My taste buds enjoy every flavor and every crunch of the food varieties. It’s easy to follow the instruction… I’m full, I’m energetic, and the cravings have stopped. There’s ‘new fuel’ in my engine. I feel great. Look at the colors! Oh… and don’t forget to hydrate.” Ignacio backing off some from his steps, weighed in down 0.8 pounds to 210.4 on Day 20.

On Day 20, Ignacio reported, “Playing softball last night, I made a play that I wouldn’t have made before because of my body weight… and it felt good. My teammate shouted, ‘Good job, Nacho! It’s about time you got off the couch’. No insult intended… just tells me I’m on the right path. Great taco for lunch… and yes that’s me making some delicious stir fry at dinner. Only using what’s on the approved list.” He also journaled, “Just because it’s ‘free food’ doesn’t mean you won’t pay later… I definitely over ate. No need to over stuff yourself just because you can. The ‘free foods’ are a great way to never be hungry, and they are very filling.” All set-up with the assembly line portion storage to make food preparation easy… turkey, chicken, meat, shrimp. “See… I can do the meal prep and cooking.” Too many steps today… but energy good. Day 21 morning weigh-in the same at 210.4 pounds.

Day 21 of Phase 2… “energy good and enjoying making my own food. Chose to keep steps down to about 1/2 of yesterday’s.” Awakened on Day 22 down 2.4 pounds to 208.0. That’s another 8.0 pounds down for the week. Ignacio finished week 3 of Phase 2 down a total of 21.8 pounds, and down 5-1/2 inches in his waist.
