new back tips – Lose weight the right way – Ignacio’s Journey – Week 6

Ignacio completed Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the right way weight loss program in 6-weeks with a remarkable weight loss of 32.6 pounds and 7 inches taken off his waist… see how he did it and what’s next!

People who move better feel better.. and for the more than 70% of Americans who are overweight, losing weight makes moving easier; improves type 2 diabetes and pre-diabetes; decreases damaging stress pressure on the heart and arteries; reduces the risk of many common cancers; improves sleep; energy and so much more.

Ignacio finished Week 5 of Phase 2 of our right way healthy weight loss program down 29.8 pounds… healing rapidly from a soft ball injury to his right knee earlier in the week; most of the time he experiences good energy, low to no hunger pangs, and unexpected benefits from what is now unquestionably a more healthy and functional body.

Phase 2, or the losing phase of our right way weight loss program has a total of 40 days… so Week 6 is a partial week with just 5 days left before entering the maintenance or “locking” phase of the program.

Ignacio started his last partial week of the losing phase on Day 36 with a tough morning. This seems to be a common pattern for Saturday morning after a week of overexertion. He journaled, “Today is definitely not a good day. I’m strong arming this thing… but I want to punch the wall. I’m starving… I’m upset… I’m trying to stay away from everybody so they don’t have to pay for my state of mind, that would be unfair. I’m writing these things to let you know how I feel… this is real and evidence of me not doing this program perfectly. I am committed to the food program, but I exercise my body too much. Of all the days so far, I definitely feel like quitting today. It doesn’t help that I hate pictures and this was the morning for the follow up photos of me.”

He was up too early, but had a good lunch and told me, “Definitely feel better after eating lunch. Maybe I under ate yesterday, and the day before”. I reminded him of his softball injury and how much he runs. He said, “Yes! I definitely should not have run that day… But I was feeling so good, I thought I could. But the injury pushed a series of emotions and pains that I’m paying for today. Good news: feeling better now! Yes… Definitely very light exercise if any at all during the losing phase of this program”. He also said, “Yes… I can definitely see myself eating this way always… with reasonable increase in volume… we are almost there!” Good dinner after shopping for the week. Typical steps for Ignacio, good macros. Ignacio was rewarded for his commitment by rising on Day 37 down 0.6 pounds to 199.4… the first time under 200 pounds in over 25 years!

Day 37 was reflective for Ignacio, and confirmed his need to keep exercise down during the losing phase of the program. He journaled, “These last two days have been rough… I’m hungry and feel deprived before eating. It feels good to be resting, but I still have periods where I feel miserable. Even though my plates are full, I’m not eating enough for my activity level… which means I need to be less active. I also have not started the additional supplements you recommended. I think that once I implement breakfast and a little more food, this is definitely the right way to eat long term. It may also be that I know the end of the losing phase is getting close… Most of the time I know the feelings are just generated by my mind, and I fight through it. I know feelings are not facts”. Great lunch with a ‘tasty’ dressing from the program recipe book… apple cider vinegar, garlic salt, and Stevia. Satisfying, hearty dinner. Average steps and a Day 38 morning weigh-in at 199.4 again.

The week went better with generally less activity… Ignacio felt good energy and no hunger pangs. Day 38 lunch was delicious and satisfying. Dinner was just as fulfilling. Steps slightly above desired. Weight on Day 39 morning weigh-in the same at 199.4 for the third day in a row.

Day 39 is the first day without the nutritional supplement formula drops… since it takes 2 days to clear from the body in preparation for the “locking” or maintenance phase. The day started with a brief trip to the garden to harvest a couple ripe melons. Lunch and dinner were both “great!” Surprise, surprise… steps up again. Weight down 1.6 pounds on Day 40 to 197.8. Ignacio’s reaction to his success is priceless, “Seriously? This is crazy!”

Another tasty, satisfying lunch and dinner on Day 40. Good macros and average steps. Final “losing phase” morning weigh-in at 197.2 pounds. Down another 2.8 pounds for a partial Week 6 of Phase 2… and a total weight loss of 32.6 pounds with about 7 inches taken off his waist in just 6 weeks.

Ignacio reports being enthusiastically ready to “lock in” his new set-point body weight in Phase 3 of the right way weight loss program before starting another 6 week “losing phase” in about 4 weeks.

Phase 3, the “locking” phase, adds breakfast and effectively doubles lunch and dinner portions. The goal of this phase is to reset the body’s equilibrium BMI (I.e. body mass index) and BMR (i.e. basal metabolic rate)… it will take an average of 4 weeks to get the body weight stable, at plus or minus a 1/2 pound on daily weigh-ins. The right way weight loss program generates rapid weight loss, and works to prevent the typical traditional medical weight loss rebound weight gain.

We will continue to share Ignacio’s once and for always body transformation with you, so share this with your loved ones struggling with excess body weight, and all the health problems it causes.
